Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the west in an awesome game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the dealer, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By wagering against the dealer, beginner players do not need to worry about any other, more knowledgeable players winning their moolla.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the generally slow game play, rookies can take their time and strategize while not having to make quick choices.
It is also simpler to bet on for an extended time with just a small amount of cash seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be under both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards faces showing and the casino is dealt seven cards face down.
A five card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
