Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in a wonderful game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the house, unlike almost all other poker games that players wager against other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to fret about any other, more skillful gamblers taking their cash.
One more Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make quick choices.
It is also simpler to wager on for a very long time with basically a tiny bit of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands must be lower than each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards faces showing and the dealer is given 7 cards face down.
One five card hand and one 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
