Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in an excellent game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the dealer, not like most other poker games that players play with other players. By competing against the dealer, beginning players do not need to fret about any other, more experienced individuals taking their money.
Another Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, rookies should be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make quick choices.
It’s also easier to participate in for an extended time with just a small amount of money since, to lose, each of your hands has to be under both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the casino receives seven cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
